- Recycled PLA (polylactic acid)
(260 x 260 x 600 mm)

The Blue Series draws on Circular Economy, critical making, speculative design, and more-than-human perspectives to interrogate materiality and entropy. It examines processes of disorder—how matter transitions from organised states to dispersed ones over extended temporal scales. Through this exploration of waste plastics, the ontological instability of plastic polymers is highlighted. While temporarily configured as individual furniture, objects, and jewellery, they inevitably break down into microplastics and their monomer components, entering planetary nutrient cycles over millennia. This understanding informs experimental approaches to designing objects from discarded plastics, reframing waste as a site for speculative material futures.
